[Luckily she expected him to be here, so it's only right after that message that she throws the door open, her face wearing a genuine frown.
It's not put on whatsoever. There's legitimate unhappiness reverberating off of her, right now.

Which is a big thing. Whenever she's feeling this way, she usually fakes her joy to stifle it until she forgot why she was upset in the first place - so to show it to him means either a lot of trust, or a lot to upset her.
Either way, it only lasts about two seconds before her lips quiver, big, pink eyes welling up with tears, and she takes a big step toward him -
